Central Stone Company in Eureka, Missouri, operates the Antire Quarry, a large-scale site with multiple crushers and high production rates. The Quarry Superintendent will direct all production activities, enforce safety rules, oversee maintenance, and coach staff to maximize efficiency and product quality.

You will coordinate with area managers on inventory and demand while developing the team. Pre-employment physicals and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years background experience in quarry operations and personnel management.

Responsabilités

• Follow and enforce Mine Safety and Health Administration rules with Safety Manager.
• Direct and supervise all production activities from drilling to quality control.
• Ensure plant equipment is maintained and ready for operation at shift start.
• Audit maintenance plans and optimize plant efficiency.
• Coordinate with Area Production and Area Sales managers on inventory and demand.
• Develop employees through training, coaching, and discipline as needed.

We are currently seeking candidates for a Quarry Superintendent position in the Eureka, Mo area. This location -- the Antire Quarry -- is a large scale operation with multiple crushers and heavy production rate. Major Quarry Superintendent Responsibilities Include:

• Follow and enforce Mine Safety and Health Administration rules and regulations, working in tandem with the company Safety Manager.
• Direct and supervise all production activities, from drilling and blasting, to quality control of the end products.
• Ensure all equipment at the plants is properly maintained and ready for operation at the start of each scheduled production shift.
• Audit existing maintenance plans and modify as required in an effort to strive for optimal efficiency of plant operations at all times.
• Work in coordination with the Area Production Manager and Area Sales Manager to determine required inventory and production demands.
• Ensure the competence and development of employees by initiating training, coaching, counseling, or discipline procedures on a continuous basis.
• Work in coordination with the Mine Development Department to execute efficient extraction of limestone per the engineered mine design plan.
