The Plant Superintendent at Cemex US oversees daily quarry operations, budgets, mine planning, permitting, and coordination with management to achieve safety and production goals. This role leads contracts, supervises hourly staff, and ensures compliance with OSHA/MSHA and environmental standards.

Key duties include cost monitoring, developing annual budgets, safety leadership, and liaison with Corporate Mining and QC teams to align short- and long-term mining plans while maintaining quality

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mining or Civil Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of quarry supervision experience required.
• Excellent communication and safety leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor costs and help maintain quarry costs.
• Develop and maintain a safe, environmentally compliant operation.
• Interface with corporate mining staff and QC to develop mining plans.
• Direct production to meet quality and quantity requirements and adjust schedules.
• Manage employee time and attendance.
• Develop annual budget for the operation.
• Adhere to OSHA and MSHA rules and regulations.
