Job summary

CRH APAC Mississippi, Inc. is seeking a dependable laborer to maintain crushers and washers and surrounding areas to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities include shoveling, sweeping, painting, lifting and mechanical assistance; reporting production issues; willingness to travel occasionally and work nights and weekends as needed; and performing other duties as assigned. The role requires physical fitness, ability to work in varying weather, and adherence to safety procedures in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; and 1–2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, swings)

Responsibilities

• Maintain aggregate crusher, washer, and surrounding environment for safe operation.
• Shovel, sweep, steam clean, paint, and perform mechanical assistance as needed.
• Report production issues to supervisor or lead person.
• Willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Able to work overtime when required.
• Report to work at designated start time.
