Luck Stone Corporation is offering a Summer Internship in quarry operations for a 9-week program beginning June 1, 2027. Interns gain hands-on experience in blasting, heavy equipment operation and maintenance, plant operations, quality control, and sales/dispatch while developing safety culture and teamwork.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an advanced degree or certificate program related to the industry, with a desire to grow in mining.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an advanced degree or certificate program related to mining/industrial operations.
• Interest in quarry operations and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong attention to safety and quality control.
• Ability to participate in site activities and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks and projects with quality and attention to detail.
• Participate in hands-on training in pit and plant activities.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repair.
• Follow QC procedures and perform lab tests as required.
• Assist with sales and dispatch activities, including weighing and ticketing.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Attend daily safety briefings and report hazards.
• Seek feedback and coaching from supervisors.
• Deliver end-of-summer presentation summarizing learnings.
