Job summary

Martin Marietta in Oxford, GA is seeking an Off Highway Haul Truck Driver to operate haul trucks safely within quarry guidelines and support loader operations as needed. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least six months of haul truck experience, with a focus on reliability, safety and continuous improvement.

The role includes pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance. Location: Newton County Quarry, 575 Marble Dr., Oxford, GA 30054.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Six months experience as haul truck driver or related experience preferred.
• Experience operating mobile equipment and/or equipment used in processing plants is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently within company guidelines and safety standards.
• Participate in safety inspections and follow MSHA safety rules.
• Assist in loader production and maintain product piles as needed.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and report needed repairs to supervisor.
• Conduct basic maintenance and housekeeping on equipment and operate other quarry equipment as required.
• Assist in training co-workers as needed.
