Haugland Group seeks a dependable Quarry Miner/Laborer to join the team in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The role involves daily quarry operations, material extraction, processing, and assisting with drilling and blasting under supervision.

Candidates should be able to perform physically demanding outdoor work, operate basic hand tools, follow safety protocols, and be reliable team players willing to work flexible hours, including overtime.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quarrying, mining, construction, or heavy labor preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments
• Basic familiarity with hand tools and mechanical equipment
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily quarry operations, including extraction and processing of materials
• Support drilling and blasting activities under supervision
• Load, transport, and stockpile stone, gravel, and other aggregates
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Maintain clean, organized, hazard-free work areas
• Follow all safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or operational problems
