Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc is seeking hardworking individuals to join our team in Richmond, VA. As a majority employee-owned company, we value safety, reliability, and a strong work ethic for field labor roles.

Starting pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, with occasional travel stipends. Candidates must be able to work outdoors in varying weather, lift heavy loads, and learn blasting-related safety practices. OT may be required.

Formación

• Valid driver''s license with a good driving record and own transportation; travel out of town/state required.
• Must successfully pass ATF screenings.
• Experience with construction labor and heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to learn and develop skills to perform higher level tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to company safety procedures and policies.
• Maintain physical agility and perform laboring tasks outdoors.
• Submit weekly time records to Blaster/Foreman with accurate times.
• Learn safety aspects of construction sites and handling explosives.
• Work with supervision or independently as needed.
• Assist with setting up and loading materials for blasting operations.
• Keep job site clean and organized at all times.
• Attend all meetings and participate in safety briefings.
• Support foremen, safety and job meetings as needed.
• Participate in daily safety heads-up meetings.
