Job summary

Hinkle Contracting, LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to work in our quarry operations. You will operate loaders, excavators, and other equipment, ensuring safe and efficient transport of loads under the direction of the Quarry Foreman.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, a valid CDL preferred, and the ability to perform daily maintenance checks while following all safety procedures. Long hours and a strong work ethic are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Pre-employment 'Fit for Work' physical
• Valid documentation for I-9 immigration
• Professional and courteous attitude to coworkers and public
• Willingness to work long hours

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, and dozers
• Follow safety procedures and daily equipment checklists
• Communicate with Foreman regarding daily job specifications
• Perform pre-start up procedures and maintain equipment
• Keep equipment clean and well-maintained
• Assist with laborer duties as needed
