Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking an experienced quarry heavy equipment operator for a role supporting front end loaders, dozers, backhoes, graders, excavators and skid steers. You will operate equipment to meet quarry requirements and perform daily inspections.

Candidates must be able to work in varying weather, perform physically demanding tasks, and communicate with site teams to maintain safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working in varying weather elements; quarry experience preferred.
• Experienced with operating/maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment.
• Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Primary operations of front end loaders, dozers, backhoes, grader, excavators and skid steer loaders.
• Operating mobile equipment based on quarry operational requirements.
• Inspect all operating equipment each shift, complete inspection sheets and report problems.
• Correct malfunctions or irregularities of operating equipment.
• Maintain strong communication with quality personnel and adjust material blends as required.
