Job summary

Hinkle Contracting, LLC, a CRH company, is seeking a qualified equipment operator to join our Kentucky quarry team. The successful candidate will operate front end loaders and other heavy equipment in a busy quarry environment, reporting to the Quarry Foreman.

Requirements include at least 5 years of heavy equipment experience, ability to perform pre-start checks, and a valid driver's license with a good record; CDL may be required. Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment experience.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Pre-employment “Fit for Work” physical.
• Must provide valid I-9 documentation.
• Professional, courteous attitude toward coworkers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, dozers and similar gear.
• Follow daily job specifications with Foreman; perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance.
• Keep equipment clean and well-maintained; report any issues to Foreman.
• Work safely in a quarry environment and adhere to all safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
