Job summary

The University of Connecticut is seeking an Evaluation Project Manager to support day-to-day operations of evaluation activities for the NSF Quantum Technologies Engine in Connecticut. You will help manage evaluation design, data collection, reporting, and dissemination while supervising students and coordinating meetings and logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in evaluation, public policy, education, social sciences, or related field.
• Three+ years of experience managing or coordinating field-based evaluation projects.
• Strong project management skills with ability to meet deadlines in a team setting.
• Experience designing, collecting, organizing, and maintaining data and records.
• Experience managing study regulatory processes, including IRB submissions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate day-to-day operational management of evaluation activities.
• Coordinate evaluation-related logistics: meetings, workshops, surveys, interviews, focus groups, and stakeholder engagement.
• Support data collection efforts: surveys, interviews, assessments, and other instruments.
• Maintain evaluation databases ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
• Prepare and summarize evaluation data for reports and deliverables.
• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual evaluation reports to funders and university leadership.
• Coordinate travel and event logistics and reimbursements.
• Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items.
• Support communication among external evaluation team and project partners.
