The University of Connecticut seeks an Evaluation Project Manager to support day-to-day operations of evaluation activities for the Quantum Technologies Engine. The Evaluation Project Manager will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations of all evaluation-related activities. They will also help manage evaluation meeting logistics and facilitation, implementation, data management and analyses, supervision of undergraduate and graduate students, and evaluation dissemination and use activities. Job responsibilities cluster into five categories: project management and coordination, evaluation design, evaluation implementation and data analysis, reporting, and quality assurance. The Evaluation Project Manager will report to Dr. Bianca Montrosse-Moorhead, incoming Department Head and Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology, and QuantumCT Engine External Evaluation Lead.
The NSF Quantum Technologies Engine in Connecticut (QuantumCT Engine), led by the University of Connecticut, aims to advance American quantum innovation and secure the domestic quantum supply chain by accelerating the commercialization of quantum technologies for national defense, biotechnology, and financial services. Through innovation, applied research leading to new technologies, support for inventors and entrepreneurs and workforce development, the QuantumCT Engine will advance quantum sensing, secured communications, computing, and materials through shared test bed, deep-tech incubator, and translation pathways.
This is a full-time, end-dated position with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and funding. This position is based at the Storrs campus and the successful candidate will be required to work on the campus and travel to other campuses as needed. The salary range for this position is $60,416 to $78,541.
Employment of successful candidates will be contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check.
The successful must be willing and able to travel to in-person meetings locally, statewide, and out-of-state, when needed.
