Job summary

The University of Connecticut seeks a Project Manager to coordinate the NSF Quantum Technologies Engine initiative (QuantumCT Engine) in Connecticut. You will align activities across university partners, industry, and researchers to ensure timely delivery and sponsor satisfaction.

Based at UConn Health Farmington and Storrs, you will manage budgets, reporting, and compliance, traveling between campuses as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, project management or related field.
• Experience preparing reports, presentations, and financial documents.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities from initiation through completion to support achievement of project goals and objectives.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics and provide regular updates to project leadership.
• Coordinate activities across workstreams and teams to ensure alignment with project requirements, deadlines, and priorities.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budget projections and similar for leadership, sponsors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with financial and administrative personnel to support fiscal compliance.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document meeting outcomes, and track follow-up actions.
• Identify project risks, challenges, and barriers and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of sponsor reports, progress updates, and project deliverables.
• Assist with event logistics, registration processes, survey administration, and outcome tracking.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
