Rigetti Computing is seeking a Lead Quantum Engineer to spearhead the Systems Performance team. You will design, build, and lead cross-functional experimental programs to inform the technical roadmap and push systems-level improvements in superconducting qubits.

You will own delivery of quantum hardware technologies, lead diverse engineers and scientists, and drive the high-ownership culture. The role requires a PhD in a related field, strong leadership, and excellent communication; prior

Qualifications

PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience in industry or start-up environments.
Demonstrated technical leadership experience.
Direct experience with cryogenic systems and RF measurement.
Extensive hands-on time-domain measurements with superconducting devices.
Track record of meaningful accomplishments in quantum science.
Working knowledge of Python.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to lead cross-functional teams.
