Rigetti Computing is seeking a Lead Quantum Engineer for the Systems Performance team to shape the technical roadmap and lead a cross-functional effort to advance superconducting qubit hardware. You will design experiments, push performance and scalability, and mentor engineers and scientists to close critical gaps.

The role requires a PhD, strong technical leadership, and hands-on experience with cryogenic systems and time-domain measurements.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven technical leadership experience in industry or startup.
• Direct experience with cryogenic systems and RF measurement techniques.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and lead cross-functional experimental programs to inform the technical roadmap and drive systems-level improvements.
• Propose and explore new technical directions.
• Identify and address complex gaps in existing technology.
