Job summary

Quantum Machines seeks a Product Solutions Physicist with a Technical Marketing focus to translate complex quantum hardware and software into accessible language for researchers. You will shape narratives, write technical content, and present to diverse audiences from lab researchers to CTOs.

You will read the latest research, judge its significance, and ensure accuracy and impact in QM's storytelling across blogs, whitepapers, talks, and videos.

Qualifications

• PhD in quantum physics or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of experimental quantum physics and/or computing.
• Spin qubit experience is a strong plus.
• Track record of excellent technical communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional storyteller with impeccable written and spoken English.
• Confident public speaker, comfortable delivering talks at conferences or webinars.
• Passionate about Marketing, storytelling and science communication.
• Highly collaborative; able to partner with Marketing, Product, R&D, and Sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep understanding of QM's platforms (OPX, QUA, real-time control) and the experimental problems they solve across multiple qubit modalities – and in particular spin qubits.
• Own the language, framing, and technical accuracy of QM's public-facing materials: whitepapers, application notes, blog posts, conference talks.
• Work alongside the solutions, applications, and research teams to track where the field is going and keep QM's messaging ahead of it.
• Represent QM as a technical voice: speaker, panelist, author to audiences ranging from grad students to CTOs.
• Creation of technical content such as whitepapers, blogposts, datasheets and videos, supporting digital marketing.
• Partner with Marketing Ops to understand resonance and feed that back into content strategy and tone of voice across channels.
• Build and refine pipelines that turn product and research updates into community-facing content.
