Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a passionate quantum computing expert to lead developer relations across federal research communities. You will define strategic collaborations, drive adoption of NVIDIA's quantum SDKs, and bridge mission scientists with NVIDIA's product and engineering teams.

You will run workshops, present at conferences, build reference implementations, and cultivate a network of collaborators across the federal quantum landscape.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in physics, computer science, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, chemistry, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in quantum information science, with 5+ years in industry or national labs.
  • Demonstrated expertise across quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, or quantum hardware with ability to converse with a PI.
  • Hands-on background in scientific computing, HPC, or GPU-accelerated software development.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, including public speaking to technical audiences.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (≈40%) to national labs, federal sites, and conferences in the US.
  • US citizenship and security clearance; TS/SCI or DOE Q clearance strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain deep knowledge of quantum workloads relevant to the federal research community.
  • Lead strategic collaborations with DOE labs and federally funded quantum programs.
  • Embed the NVIDIA quantum stack into production research workflows at labs and facilities.
  • Conduct workshops, hackathons, and training at national labs and conferences.
  • Monitor the quantum landscape and identify opportunities for CUDA-Q, QEC, Ising, and NVQLink roadmaps.
  • Engage senior technical leaders to address architectural challenges like QPU-GPU integration and real-time control.
