Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a quantum computing expert to lead developer relations with the federal research community and key national labs. You will define strategic collaborations and drive adoption of the NVIDIA quantum SDKs while bridging scientists and product/engineering teams.

You’ll run workshops, present at conferences, and develop reference implementations, collaborating with DOE labs, NIST, DoD, NSF programs, and lab facilities to integrate CUDA‑Q, cuQuantum, and NVQLink into workflows.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in quantum information science; 5+ years in industry or national labs.
  • Strong expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction or hardware/control systems.
  • Hands‑on background in scientific/HPC and GPU‑accelerated software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; capable public speaking.
  • Willingness to travel ~40% across US labs and conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain deep technical knowledge of quantum workloads for federal labs.
  • Lead strategic collaborations with federal programs and national labs.
  • Embed NVIDIA quantum stack into production research workflows.
  • Conduct workshops, hackathons, and trainings at national facilities.
  • Present at conferences (SC, IEEE Quantum Week, etc.) and QC forums.
  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers to address architectural challenges.
