Job summary

Amazon Center for Quantum Computing in Pasadena is seeking a Control System Test Engineer to validate control hardware and software for quantum processors. You will validate hardware and software that perform control and readout functions in a cross‑functional team environment and work with large mixed‑signal systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing, maintaining, and operating automated test routines for mixed-signal electronics.
• Hands-on experience with high-speed oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and power supplies.
• Proficiency in testing analog/digital interfaces, ADCs/DACs, and high-speed serial protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test scripts for mid-volume electronics manufacturing using high-speed test equipment.
• Design and implement test plans for high-speed, mixed-signal PCAs and instrument assemblies.
• Create test requirements and coverage matrices with hardware and software stakeholders.
• Analyze test data to identify failure root causes and trends, and drive DFT improvements.
• Drive continuous test improvement to increase accuracy, reliability, and adapt to new measurement requirements.
