Job summary

The Tudor Rose Partnership LLP is seeking Quantum Consultants and Senior Consultants to work on a range of commissions, independently or as part of a team, in the UK & Ireland.

Candidates should have a minimum five years’ experience as a quantity surveyor with expertise in NEC/JCT contracts, procurement strategy, and dispute resolution. The role emphasizes robust construction knowledge and the ability to manage multiple commissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience as a quantity surveyor from either a client or contractor background.
• Experience providing commercial support in a client-facing environment.
• Excellent working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
• Skilled in the management of procurement strategy and contract administration.
• A solid understanding of contract and law within the construction industry, with focus on damages.
• Excellent team working skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Strong written and oral presentation skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and organize others on multiple commissions.
• Robust knowledge of construction techniques.

Responsibilities

• Forensic investigation of project accounts.
• Preparation of final accounts to adjudication standard.
• Calculation of damages incurred as a result of delay or breach of contract.
• Preparation of written reports for dispute resolution, including mediation, adjudication and litigation; prepared as advocate or expert.
• Party representation or defence in formal proceedings including adjudication and mediation.
• Provision of commercial support on live commissions including management of client teams and commercial advice.
