Job summary

Kier Group plc. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Thames Water framework team for a major £200m+ upgrade project. The role blends on-site presence with remote work, requiring you to be on-site at least 3 days a week at Maple Lodge STW, Rickmansworth.

You will support cost control, valuations, and subcontract management in a collaborative environment across engineering, operations, and planning teams. A strong emphasis on accuracy and governance is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant QS or QS in civil engineering, utilities, construction, or infrastructure.
• Strong numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in subcontract procurement, valuations, and cost reporting.
• Understanding of construction contracts and governance.
• Proficient in MS Excel and commercial tools.
