We have a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our high-performing commercial team. This is a role where you’ll be right at the heart of delivery — working closely with operational and planning teams to make sure projects are commercially sound, well controlled and set up for success. As the utilities sector continues to evolve, this role offers the chance to contribute to smarter, more sustainable ways of delivering critical infrastructure. Your work directly supports our ability to invest in innovation, greener working practices and long-term infrastructure that benefits communities now and in the future.
You’re an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in utilities or civil engineering and a strong understanding of NEC contracts. You’ll be proactive, commercially astute and comfortable working at pace, with the confidence to challenge, problem-solve and influence outcomes. Strong Excel skills are essential and you’ll be confident using formulas, pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, with a clear focus on accuracy and data integrity. Experience managing subcontractors and supporting high-volume works is highly desirable, as is a willingness to support and develop junior team members. Additionally, you’ll be an effective communicator who enjoys building strong relationships with clients and colleagues, and you’ll hold a full UK driving licence with the flexibility to travel to site when required.
