Job summary

First Military Recruitment is partnering with a company in East Anglia to appoint a permanent Quantity Surveyor. The role focuses on cost management, tender analysis, valuations, and final accounts, with exposure to subcontractor administration and cost control.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with health and safety standards and support project delivery within a structured, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of health and safety issues.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT literacy.
• Good level of analytical skills.
• Good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare activity schedules, bills of quantities and tender documents; assist with tender analysis and reports.
• Perform cost control, risk and value management.
• Prepare/agree monthly valuations with clients.
• Monitor and prepare costings for delay / EOT.
• Price and agree variations with internal team and client.
• Agree final accounts with client and allocate work to subcontractors.
• Monthly subcontractor payment certification and variations.
