Job summary

Citi is seeking Summer Analysts to join the Risk Management team in our Buffalo, NY office. You will work on the Quantitative Risk Management Summer Analyst program, gaining exposure to VaR, stress-testing and scenario analysis while collaborating with senior leaders and global teams.

The program runs for 10 weeks, offering hands-on risk projects, mentorship, and opportunities to build leadership and technical skills in a fast-changing financial environment at Citi.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Masters in Engineering, Science, Technology or Mathematics with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2028.
• 0-2 years of related work experience advised.
• Strong analytical mindset with global perspective and excellent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Risk Management projects across disciplines (Central Governance, Treasury Risk, Global Market Risk, Model Risk, Quantitative Risk & Stress Testing).
• Develop analytical skills and business acumen while mentoring from senior leaders.
• Contribute to risk assessment, data analysis, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
