Job summary

Citi in Getzville, NY is seeking Summer Analysts to join the Risk Management team. This 10-week program provides hands-on exposure to risk governance, VaR, stress testing and scenario analysis as you work on real projects with global teams.

You will be assigned to one risk discipline such as Central Governance, Treasury Risk Management, Global Market Risk or Model Risk, with mentorship from senior leaders and peers, while developing analytics, coding and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Masters student in Engineering, Science, Technology or Mathematics (Graduating Dec 2027–May 2028).
• 0–2 years of related work experience and a strong analytical mindset.
• Proficiency in analytical and coding/datamining tools (SAS/SQL/R/Python).
• Excellent communication and ability to build business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support risk teams on challenging projects, assessing risk and governance.
• Contribute to data analysis, VaR, stress testing and scenario work.
• Collaborate with global teams and management for impactful outcomes.
