Job summary

Citi is seeking Summer Analysts to join the Risk Management team in the Buffalo area for a 10-week summer internship. You will be placed on one of Citi’s Risk teams, conducting risk assessments, building business acumen, and improving leadership and data analytics skills under senior mentorship.

The program emphasizes professional development, training, and cross-team collaboration, with a path to Full-Time Analyst opportunities for the top performers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM or quantitative field (graduating Dec 2027–Jun 2028).
• GPA of 3.3 or above.
• Interest in Risk Management and strong data analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work on challenging and impactful projects across Citi Risk Management.
• Gain exposure to governance, risk, and risk best practices.
• Receive mentorship from junior and senior leaders throughout the 10‑week program.
• Develop leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
