Job summary

Citi is seeking Summer Analysts to join the Risk Management team in our Tampa office. The 10-week program introduces you to risk governance, VaR, stress testing and scenario analysis while placing you on one of our risk disciplines.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Masters in Engineering, Science, Technology or Mathematics with graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2028.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Demonstrates strategic and analytical thinking with a global perspective and sound judgment.
• Shows initiative and ability to propose creative solutions and adapt to change.
• Resilient in a dynamic work environment and familiar with process improvement.
• Proficient in analytical, coding or data-mining tools (SAS, SQL, R, Python, Hadoop, Spark, MATLAB, Tableau, PowerBI).
• Technologically proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 10-week Risk Management summer program across various risk disciplines.
• Work on challenging projects to assess risk and develop business acumen.
• Receive mentorship from senior leaders and contribute value to Citi’s risk organization.
