Job summary

Good Reason Houston seeks a Manager of Quantitative Research & Data Analytics to guide the organization’s data-driven impact. You will lead analyses, develop data systems, and build staff capability in R, SQL, and dashboard tools.

This hands-on role partners with diverse teams to translate evidence into strategy. You will own data storytelling, dashboards, and recurring analyses, ensuring rigorous methods and clear communication to district leaders, funders, and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• 4+ years of professional experience in quantitative research or data analytics.
• Experience independently leading quantitative research and data analytics projects.
• Demonstrated project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design analytic plans and run descriptive, regression, and longitudinal analyses in R.
• Develop data collection instruments with internal and external partners.
• Write reusable, documented R scripts and functions in GitHub.
• Lead SQL database design, data dictionaries, and data refreshes for dashboards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to publish reports and external communications.
