Job summary

Aplaro Ltd is seeking a data- and operations-focused professional to design, optimize and execute tools and processes for business operations and development. You will coordinate with multiple functions and leads, handling internal and external communications with partners and vendors on compliance and trading operations.

You will conduct research to evaluate new business opportunities and build dashboards, predictive models, and other tools to inform data-driven business decisions.

Qualifications

• Proficient at data mining, extraction and organization of raw format data from various sources.
• Experience with Tableau or similar data-visualization tools is helpful.
• Proficient in Python coding, especially scripting and automation.
• Comfort with algorithmic design in C++ or willingness to learn.
• Detail oriented and able to identify key factors for future improvements.

As part of a lean Business Team, you’ll work directly with a range of functions and their leads to design, optimize and execute tools and processes for business operations and business development. You will also be responsible for both internal and external communication to partners and vendors regarding our business compliance and trading operations. You’ll conduct research to help evaluate new business opportunities, and build dashboards, predictive models, and other tools to inform data-driven business decisions.

Qualifications

We’re looking for highly analytical people who want to help build the research-driven trading firm of the future. The individual wants to help manage our business operations for the existing business (research, technology, and operations) functions by improving communication, code and any other necessary elements.

• Proficient at data mining, extraction and organization of raw format data from various sources such as accounting systems, gitlab, and more.
• Experience, or a desire to learn, Tableau & other user interface tools that require data-input and entries is helpful as well.
• Proficient in Python coding, especially in scripting and automation.
• Technically capable in other areas of computing, such as algorithmic design in C++ or has a strong desire to become proficient in it.
• Detail oriented and can easily identify key influencing factors; able to quickly retain historical highlights to focus on future improvements.
• Results driven: able to drive tasks to completion in a timely manner.
• Ability to multitask: iterate quickly towards a better solution while not dropping the ball on other concurrent functions.
• Analytical: ability to understand the full scope and depth of the issue, able to solve for the long-term.
