The organization is lean, highly technical, and research-focused.

Role Summary

This position sits within a quantitative engineering group that partners closely with researchers and investment teams to build and maintain the software foundations that support research, analytics, and live trading. The role blends engineering rigor with quantitative thinking, emphasizing scalable design, automation, and usability across teams.

Individuals in this role contribute to firm-wide initiatives, working with technologists, researchers, and investment professionals to ensure that tools and systems are robust, reusable, and production-ready. While the role has a defined technical focus, it requires broad interaction across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with researchers and portfolio teams to architect and implement scalable research and trading workflows
  • Design reusable software components that promote consistency and efficiency across teams
  • Build, enhance, and support automated systems underpinning research and trading operations
  • Extend existing platforms to handle increased scale, complexity, and performance demands
  • Own projects end-to-end, from initial design through production rollout and ongoing support
  • Improve internal documentation, standards, and operational procedures
  • Develop monitoring and alerting solutions based on defined performance and risk metrics
  • Lead technical discussions, propose enhancements, and identify opportunities for new tooling or analysis
  • Support and contribute to quantitative analysis that feeds into the broader investment process
  • Strengthen the firm’s core infrastructure while enabling faster and more reliable research iteration
Desired Qualifications
  • Exposure to quantitative methods such as statistical modeling, time-series analysis, or optimization is beneficial
  • Strong ability to work with large, complex datasets
