Job summary

LINX is hiring a Low Voltage Quality and Training Specialist to own QA/QC for fiber and copper cabling installations on hyperscale data center projects. You will inspect completed work against BICSI and TIA/EIA standards and train crews, ensuring quality before customer handoff.

This hands-on role includes site inspections, pre/post-installation checks, and direct supervision of cabling crews to maintain high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in network cabling, including fiber and copper installations.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI) and QA processes.
• Proficiency with cable testing tools, including Fluke DSX-600/8000.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift 50-pound objects and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA/QC inspections of network cabling projects to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
• Perform job site inspections, report findings, and verify project scopes, including materials, equipment, and labor.
• Conduct pre- and post-installation quality checks to validate cable connections, terminations, and overall system functionality.
