Job summary

LINX is hiring a Low Voltage Quality and Training Specialist to own QA/QC for fiber and copper cabling installations on hyperscale data center projects. This role requires 100% travel to project sites nationwide, with all expenses covered and per diem provided.

You will inspect work against BICSI and TIA/EIA standards, supervise crews, develop quality procedures, and mentor junior staff while communicating with clients on quality issues. This is hands-on, field-based work.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in network cabling, including fiber and copper installations.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI) and quality assurance processes.
• Proficiency with cable testing tools such as Fluke DSX-600/8000 certifiers.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• QA/QC inspections of network cabling projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Perform job site inspections and verify project scopes, materials, equipment, and labor.
• Conduct pre- and post-installation quality checks and resolve defects.
• Supervise cabling crews and collaborate with project managers on corrective actions.
• Develop quality control procedures and maintain inspection documentation.
• Train and mentor junior QC personnel.
• Communicate quality concerns and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
