Job summary

Cintal, Inc. in Decatur, IL is seeking a quality engineer to lead corrective actions for customer and internal quality events, and to drive end-to-end built-in quality across manufacturing.

The role requires 2 years of experience, a BS preferred, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and involvement with continuous improvement initiatives. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience applying 8D or similar structured problem-solving in manufacturing.
• BS preferred; Associate Degree with 5 years relevant experience accepted.
• Professional communication skills required.
• Knowledge of quality standards and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead timely Emergency, Interim and Permanent corrective actions for both Customer and internal quality events collaborating across disciplines.
• Serve as ambassador, coach and sub-workstream lead for E2E Built in Quality.
• Lead quality improvement projects utilizing Office 365 tools.
• Provide Internal Continuous Improvement support.
• Internal & external Customer contact and relationship management in partnership with Manufacturing Engineering teams.
• Apply a variety of tools and techniques; 6 Sigma and 8D.

• Inspect, contain, and communicate data to factory quality teams while actively engaging in RCCA.
