  • Takes lead role in Warranty Lab daily function and communicates/coordinates with Quality Engineers

  • Conduct detailed analysis of warranty return parts to support the development of corrective and recurrence prevention actions
  • Write simple reports and provide detailed evidence to appropriate team members
  • Communicate analysis results to appropriate team members in order to obtain robust short term, recurrence prevention, and long-term corrective actions aimed at supporting customer KPI, warranty prevention, and cost reduction (i.e. aimed at EDER)
  • Provide technical support to all internal departments to maintain and improve product quality
  • Support the groups adherence/compliance to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS
  • Calibrate gauging and equipment according to established procedures
  • Record test and measurement data, using statistical process control procedures, and report data in appropriate formats as needed
  • Support regular meeting within group to support establishment of action plans to support EDER activities and to reduce warranty claims/cost
  • Ensure all warranty returns flow through the warranty department in a timely manner (EDER)
  • ED coordination
  • Daily part reception and shipping
  • Database management
  • KPI monitoring/reaction
  • Provide feedback to management regarding continuous improvement activities. Support or lead continuous improvement projects
  • Undertake special projects as required
  • Establish and achieve goals that support the groups short- and long-term goals
  • Maintain Lab and workspace 5S, support continuous improvement to establish 1 second find / 1 second reach
