Job summary

Silfab Solar is seeking an entry-level Quality Technician to support quality control and assurance across raw materials to finished products. You will assist inspections, data collection, and documentation to ensure products meet established standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with production teams, instrument calibration, and maintaining QA records. Prior PV module manufacturing experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic, ethical energy company.

Qualifications

• Independent worker with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office and Excel, and statistical software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Works well in a team and also autonomously when needed.
• Manufacturing experience in a technical role; PV module experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality controls on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
• Monitor scrap and out-of-spec materials; suggest corrective actions with Management.
• Suggest improvements to Work Instructions to reduce scrap and improve product performance.
• Support and train Production staff on WI’s and quality/process issues with Management.
• Perform final inspection of finished goods and conduct defect analysis.
• Create quality reports and calibrate instruments per WI and safety standards.
• Maintain and calibrate QA instruments in production and QA areas.
• Collaborate with management to ensure ISO standards compliance and traceability.
• Provide hourly quality updates to Management via email.
