Job summary

Silfab Solar is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee quality control of solar modules and manufacturing processes. You will develop processes, tests, and controls to ensure compliance with safety regulations and customer expectations.

The role includes leading root-cause analysis, SWI creation, and training operators in quality practices. The candidate will perform PPAP submissions, contribute to PFMEAs and control plans, and participate in design reviews and audits to drive continuous

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Practical knowledge of statistical software packages.
Minimum 1 year of quality experience; 3+ years preferred for high-volume manufacturing.
Module manufacturing experience preferred.
Certified Quality Engineer accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop processes, test procedures and quality controls to meet standards and client expectations.
Monitor scraps and root-cause actions; perform statistical evaluations and corrective actions.
Create SWIs and train technicians and operators on quality and processes.
Prepare PPAP submissions and approvals with customers and suppliers.
Lead PFMEAs, control plans and related inspection activities; perform audits.
