Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Quality Technician to conduct root cause analyses on components and finished products, partner with manufacturing and engineering teams, and support quality audits and standard operation procedures. The role requires hands-on measurement with calipers, micrometers, and CMM, plus strong troubleshooting and computer skills.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years in quality control, an associate-level quality certification, and the ability to diagnose

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of experience in a quality control/assurance role.
• Associate degree or equivalent level of quality technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis on non-conforming components or finished products and recommend fixes.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, product development, and sales to address quality issues and reduce scrap.
• Develop, implement, and report on internal and customer audits.
• Create and maintain standard work instructions, quality alerts, and SOPs.
• Measure parts to prints using calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
• Conduct tests to ensure cases meet internal and customer requirements.
