Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking a Quality Technician I to analyze quality problems, implement corrective actions, and support calibration of inspection equipment. You will educate production teams, conduct process audits, and ensure products meet customer specifications.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in manufacturing, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with inspection equipment and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze quality problems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Educate production team on quality issues and partner with managers to improve safety and product quality.
• Coordinate quality inspections with department leads and document findings in the data base.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of cases prior to shipment to meet customer specs.
• Verify refrigeration components and case measurements during processing stages.
