Job summary

Greene Resources in Durham, NC is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect articles and processes to meet customer specs. The role requires 1+ year in quality control, HS diploma, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work Fri-Sun, 7:00am–7:00pm, full-time; temp to perm. Competitive hourly pay with differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of quality control experience, preferably in the printing industry.
• Working knowledge of computer systems.
• Ability to read a ruler to 1/64 inch accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect first article, in-process, and final products to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Conduct routine checks on presses, cutting machines, folders, and packing lines to verify product quality.
• Verify finished cartons are properly packed and labeled before release.
• Perform rub tests and barcode scans when required.
• Conduct comparator checks on printed materials to confirm accuracy.
• Assist with investigations, internal audits, and documentation with the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Support rework of defective products when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following company procedures.
