Job summary

Cannonball Recruiting LLC is seeking a Quality Technician for a day-shift role in a food-regulated environment. You will monitor CCPs, ensure product quality and safety, and maintain accurate records throughout production.

This position requires 1–2 years of quality experience, GMP familiarity, and strong MS Office skills. You may work weekends per rotating schedule, with a 50-pound lift capability and good communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of quality experience; GMP knowledge (21CFR 110/111/210/211) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong time management skills.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Able to work rotating shift 2-2-3-3; including weekends when scheduled.
• Food environment experience beneficial.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and identify critical control points (CCP) within processes.
• Monitor processes and ensure food safety and quality throughout manufacturing.
• Document and file relevant record logs and documentation.
• Ensure recipe guidelines are met during processing.
• Ensure employees follow all food safety and worker safety practices.
• Educate employees on quality expectations.
• Collect product samples for the Quality lab.
• Inspect in-process printing for quality and accuracy per specs.
• Identify non-conformances and correct in real time where feasible.
• Collaborate with Operations on presses, slitter, lamination for improvements.
• Ensure paperwork is accurate and timely on production lines.

Quality Technician

Day Shift: work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, off 3 days (6am to 6pm)

Pay: $22.50/hr. with increase opportunities after 120 days

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience with quality experience; preferably within the printing, food, or regulated industry with knowledge of GMP's (21CFR 110/111/210/211)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail is essential
• Ability to work rotating shift 2-2-3-3; including weekends when scheduled
• Prior experience in the food environment is beneficial
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, stoop, bend, twist and lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Functions:

• Responsible for monitoring and identifying critical control points (CCP) within the processes.

• Responsible for the correct documentation and filing of all relevant record logs and Documentation.
• Ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.
• Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
• Ensures and educates employees on quality expectations.
• Collect product samples for the Quality lab.
• Perform inspections on in-process printing to ensure quality and accuracy of the print according to customer specifications.
• Identifying non-conformances and ensuring they are corrected "real time" when feasible.
• Working directly with Operations on the presses, slitter, lamination, etc. to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Ensuring paperwork is accurate and filled out in a timely manner on the production lines.
