Dauch is seeking a Quality Technician to help maintain quality standards for produced parts. The role involves regular inspections on the floor and in the Quality Lab, using gauges to verify dimensions and operating computerized gauging systems.

Responsibilities include LPAs, managing NCM inventory, recording issues, and contributing to process improvements while maintaining safety and adherence to drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Blueprint reading proficiency required.
  • Basic GD&T knowledge required.
  • Strong communication skills necessary.
  • Root cause analysis experience preferred.
  • Gage R&R knowledge required.
  • Gaging methods, evaluation and calibration familiarity.
  • Leadership qualities beneficial.
  • Experience with CMMs preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect parts on the floor and in the Quality Lab.
  • Use gauges and measurement techniques to verify dimensions.
  • Operate computerized gauging systems in quality labs.
  • Inspect and disposition gauges.
  • Complete weekly LPAs.
  • Maintain NCM inventory and organization.
  • Identify and record issues related to product, process, and quality system.
  • Recommend improvements to operations for efficiency.
  • Follow safety procedures and regulations.
