Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Blueprint reading skills required.
  • Basic GD&T knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Root cause analysis ability.
  • Gage R&R experience preferred.
  • Gaging methods, application, evaluation and calibration knowledge.
  • Leadership qualities helpful.
  • CMM knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Regular part inspections on the floor and in the Quality Lab.
  • Utilize gauges and measurement techniques to verify dimensions of production parts.

  • Inspect and disposition gages.
  • Complete weekly LPAs.
  • Maintain NCM inventory and organization.

  • Operate machines according to process sheets and paperwork.

Job Description Summary

The Quality Technician is responsible for helping to maintain quality standards of produced parts while adhering to the company policies and procedures.

Job Description:

  • Regular part inspections on the floor and in the Quality Lab
  • Utilizing various gages and measurement techniques to verify dimensions of production parts
  • Operate computerized gauging in quality labs
  • Inspection and disposition of gages
  • Complete weekly LPAs
  • NCM inventory and organization
  • Identify and record any problems relating to product, process, and quality system
  • Provide input on improving operation efficiencies
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.)
  • All other duties as assigned
