Job summary

Dauch Corporation seeks a Quality Technician to help maintain part quality on the shop floor and in the quality lab. You will perform regular inspections, verify dimensions with gauges, and operate lab gauging equipment to ensure conformance to drawings and specs.

The role emphasizes attention to process detail, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with manufacturing teams to improve efficiency while following safety procedures. Training on CMMs and GD&T is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Blueprint reading proficiency required.
• Knowledge of GD&T concepts and measurement techniques beneficial.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills expected.
• Root cause analysis能力 to troubleshoot defects.
• Familiarity with gage R&R methods.
• Experience with CMM systems is a plus.

Job Description

• Regular part inspections on the floor and in the Quality Lab
• Utilizing various gages and measurement techniques to verify dimensions of production parts
• Operate computerized gauging in quality labs
• Inspection and disposition of gages
• Complete weekly LPAs NCM inventory and organization
• Identify and record any problems relating to product, process, and quality system
• Provide input on improving operation efficiencies
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.)
• All other duties as assigned
