Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to perform QA/FAIR duties for PCB assemblies. You will interpret drawings, develop and submit FAIR reports, and work with engineering and production to ensure conformance to specifications.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of QA experience, including FAI, with a strong grasp of GD&T and ISO9001/AS9100. You will document non-conformances and support continuous improvements at our San Jose site.

Qualifications

• Associate level or certificate in related field.
• 4-6 years QA experience including 1-3 years FAI.
• Familiarity with PCBAs and inspection methods.
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems.
• Ability to read complex drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and other inspection reports for PCBs.
• Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to gather evidence for FAIR submissions.
• Perform quality assurance tasks with minimal supervision after training.
• Navigate company software and databases to gather information.
• Maintain inspection logs and non-conformance documentation.
