Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in San Jose, CA, is seeking a driven FA lab technician to join its PCB manufacturing environment. You will perform thermal analysis, DSC/TGA, elongation and tensile tests and assist with PCB/PCBA sample prep for failure analysis.

The role requires basic troubleshooting of open/shorted boards, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or with a team. Overtime may be required; familiarity with PCB/PCBA products is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related FA lab experience.
• Familiar with PCB and PCBA products.
• Flexible and available for overtime.
• Good attention to detail and quality.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to enter information in a computer system.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal TMA, DSC, and TGA analysis, elongation and tensile tests, and other tests per IPC test methods
• Assist engineers with PCB/PCBA sample preparation for failure analysis and requested board sectioning from customers
• Basic troubleshooting of board open/short, and thermal imaging
• Other lab assignments
