Job summary

Charter Next Generation, Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician for a part-time day shift at our Turners Falls, MA facility. You will perform visual inspections, basic tests, and support ISO/BRC compliance while following established procedures.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting with a Monday–Friday schedule and a 6-hour day shift. Eligible candidates should be able to lift up to 65 pounds and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Understands visual defects of products
• Can perform visual checks of products
• Understands physical tests and equipment
• Can use all lab equipment and perform physical tests
• Can follow equipment procedures
• Has basic understanding of products and customer requirements
• Verify and apply customer requirements and specifications
• Complete paperwork and file appropriately
• Understands retain samples and filing requirements
• Must be able to perform tasks effectively with minimal supervision
• Comply with all applicable Standards (BRC, ISO) and Standard Operating Procedures
• Communication of Non-comp and scrap materials
• Conduct EASE audits as assigned

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6 hour day shift (Hours flexible based on your schedule)
