Job summary

Charter Next Generation is seeking a Quality Technician for the night shift at our Lexington, OH facility. You will inspect products for visual and physical defects, perform basic lab tests, and follow procedures to ensure packaging quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have the ability to lift up to 65 pounds, work 12-hour shifts, and use measuring tools. Night shift adds a $2.50/hour differential, with opportunities for growth across 15+ facilities.

Qualifications

• Able to work 12-hour shifts

• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn in a technical environment
• Pass pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

• Understands visual and physical defects of products
• Performs visualChecks including color evaluation
• Understands physical tests and testing equipment
• Uses lab equipment and performs physical tests
• Follows equipment procedures and work instructions
• Fills out paperwork and filing requirements
• Retains samples and keeps filing organized
• Works effectively with minimal supervision
• Adheres to safety BRC/GC standards and company policies
