Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging is seeking a Night Shift Quality Technician to monitor critical control points and ensure product safety and quality on the 7pm-7am rotation. The role includes documenting records, verifying recipes, and guiding staff on quality expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have 1–2 years in a regulated setting with GMP knowledge, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication and time-management abilities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in printing, food, or regulated industry with GMP knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Excellent time management capabilities are expected.
• Great attention to detail is essential for quality control.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCPs and ensure food safety and quality throughout production.
• Document and file relevant logs and records accurately.
• Verify recipe guidelines are followed during processing.
• Educate employees on quality expectations and safety practices.
• Collect samples for the quality lab and inspect in-process prints.
• Identify non-conformances and correct them in real time when feasible.
• Collaborate with Operations on presses and laminations for improvements.
• Maintain timely and accurate paperwork on production lines.

$22/hour to start (DOE), $1.25/hr Shift Differential

Job Functions & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Responsible for monitoring and identifying critical control points (CCP) within the processes.
• Responsible for monitoring processes and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Responsible for the correct documentation and filing of all relevant record logs and Documentation.
• Ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.
• Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
• Ensures and educates employees on quality expectations.
• Collect product samples for the Quality lab.
• Perform inspections on in-process printing to ensure quality and accuracy of the print according to customer specifications.
• Identifying non-conformances and ensuring they are corrected “real time” when feasible.
• Working directly with Operations on the presses, slitter, lamination, etc. to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Ensuring paperwork is accurate and filled out in a timely manner on the production lines.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in printing, food, or regulated industry with knowledge of GMP’s (21CFR 110/111/210/211).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package software is essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail is essential.
