Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging is hiring Machine Operators to support production on a 6PM-6AM rotation (2/2/3). The role requires lifting up to 50-80 lbs, basic computer skills, and the ability to read a tape measure.

Qualifications

• Ability to solve problems and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong basic computer skills for operator systems.
• Clear communication and teamwork are essential.
• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery on assigned line.
• Meet daily production goals and timelines.
• Set up and tear down jobs as needed.
• Load and unload product.
• Read work orders and SOPs accurately.
• Palletize and bag finished goods.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.
• Collaborate with team and follow SOPs.

Job Functions & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Operating machinery
• Complete tasks within adequate time limits, meet daily goal/scheduled needs
• Tearing down and setting up jobs
• Loading and unloading of product
• Interpret and understand written information (work orders, SOP, tickets, etc.)
• Palletization and bagging
• Keeping work and surrounding areas clean and safe
• Work in a team environment
• Must comply with all general Company-wide standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and any job or department specific SOP’s
• SOP’s may cover the area of (but are not limited to):
  • Employee Health & Safety
  • SQF (Safe Quality Food packager) and GMP (good manufacturing procedures) focused on eliminating contaminates in all packaging manufactured
