Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging is seeking a 3rd shift Quality Technician to monitor CCPs, ensure food safety and product quality, and maintain accurate production records in our Buffalo facility.

You’ll work Sunday–Thursday 11:00pm–7:00am, follow cGMP guidelines, support continuous improvement with Operations, and help ensure print quality and process compliance. The role requires detail orientation, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1–2 years’ experience in printing, food, or regulated industry with knowledge of cGMPs (21CFR 110/111/210/211).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package software is essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and identify critical control points (CCP) within the processes.
• Monitor processes and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Document and file all relevant record logs and documentation.
• Ensure correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.
• Ensure employees follow all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
• Educate employees on quality expectations.
• Collect product samples for the Quality lab.
• Inspect in-process printing for quality and accuracy per customer specs.
• Identify non-conformances and correct them in real time when feasible.
• Collaborate with Operations on presses, slitter, lamination, etc. for continuous improvement.
• Ensure paperwork is accurate and filed on production lines.

Job Functions & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Perform inspections on in-process printing to ensure quality and accuracy of the print according to customer specifications.

• Working directly with Operations on the presses, slitter, lamination, etc. to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Ensuring paperwork is accurate and filled out in a timely manner on the production lines.
